Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What type of filler can be dissolved?
A: Only hyaluronic acid-based fillers (like Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, etc.) can be dissolved. Fillers made of other materials (e.g., Radiesse, Sculptra) cannot be treated with Hyaluronidase.
Q: How quickly does it work?
A: Most clients notice softening within 24–48 hours, with full results in a few days as the filler breaks down and swelling resolves.
Q: Is it safe?
A: Yes. Hyaluronidase is FDA-approved and widely used in aesthetic medicine. A patch test may be performed if there’s a history of allergies.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Discomfort is minimal. We use a topical anesthetic to ensure comfort during the procedure.
Q: Can I get new filler after dissolving?
A: Yes, but it’s recommended to wait at least 1–2 weeks before re-treating to allow the area to heal and fully clear any residual enzyme.
